A well knit tale, the story begins on
the backdrop of a village at a school where Anbu (kishore) has got
rivalry with Jeeva (Sriram). However, Anbu wants to forget all that and
make friends with Jeeva but that latter turns it down, he happens to be
the son of the school headmaster. Things take a turn with the arrival
of Manonmani (Dharini) and in no time, she gets close to Anbu which
irks Jeeva even more. To add to all this Anbu starts doing very well in
his studies and also all the other activities making him a very popular
guy. In no time, their families get involved and start clashing with
each other. But all this takes a turn when Meenakshi Sundaram (Vimal),
the uncle of Anbu falls in love with Jeeva's sister Sobikannu (Vega).
This brings the two families together but then Anbu and Jeeva are not
at all happy with the decision. What happens in the end forms the rest
of the story.
